Media Advisory - Government of Canada to Announce Action Plan for Softwood Lumber Industry

OTTAWA, June 1, 2017 /CNW/ - Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, the Honourable Jim Carr, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Chrystia Freeland, and the Minister of International Trade, the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, will make an announcement regarding softwood lumber followed by an opportunity for media questions.

Following the announcement, there will be a technical briefing with officials from Natural Resources Canada, Global Affairs Canada, Employment and Social Development Canada, the Business Development Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada.
