U.S. Army Extends DynCorp International’s LOGCAP Contract for Task Force Power Support in Puerto Rico

The U.S. Army Sustainment Command (ASC) has issued a change order extending DynCorp International’s (DI) Northern Command (NORTHCOM) contract to support material management and logistics services for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ (USACE) South Atlantic Division, Task Force Power Restoration in Puerto Rico. The task order is valued at up to $22.1 million and is part of the Army’s Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV.

“Restoring the power grid in Puerto Rico is an incredibly important undertaking and we are honored to have this opportunity to support this vital mission,” said Rob Tillery, vice president for DI’s LOGCAP IV program.

Under this task order, DI team members provide daily warehouse operational support that enables USACE electrical contractors to receive government provided materials to rebuild the electric power grid in Puerto Rico.

The LOGCAP IV contract is the Army component of the Department of Defense’s efforts to award contracts to U.S. companies for a broad range of logistics and support services to U.S. and allied forces during combat, peacekeeping, humanitarian and training operations.
