Michigan Growth Capital Symposium Unveils Presenting Companies

Two Weeks to the Premier Venture Capital Fair in the Midwest

ANN ARBOR, Mich., May 1, 2018 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Organizers of the Michigan Growth Capital Symposium (MGCS) today announced the highly anticipated list of companies that will present at the 37th annual event, which will be held May 15-16 at the Marriott Resort in Ypsilanti, Mich. A total of 32 companies, representing the best of the emerging growth companies in the Midwest that are actively seeking funding, will showcase their ventures to an audience of more than 400 top-tier investors, entrepreneurs, researchers and business executives.

The companies come from across the Midwest, as well as California, Colorado and Kansas, spanning the life sciences and technology industries. MGCS will also feature a dedicated tech transfer pitch track with presenters from the University of Notre Dame, University of Minnesota, Cleveland Clinic, Ohio State University, Michigan State University, Wayne State University and the University of Michigan.

    --  Collabtic - a collaboration platform for the printing and imaging
        industry.
    --  Novadiol - a biopharmaceutical company developing patent-protected drugs
        at reduced risk and development expense.
    --  NoMo Diagnostics - a real-time concussion diagnostic for athletes and
        military, powered by miniaturized EEG and novel biosensors that monitor
        brainwaves.
    --  SpinTech - builds MRI processing software that enables enhanced
        visualization, identification and quantification of unseen biomarkers
        for the diagnosis and treatment of stroke, traumatic brain injury and
        dementia.

In addition to company presentations, this year's event will feature a keynote address from Wendell Brooks, senior VP at Intel Corporation and president of Intel Capital, as well as panel discussions on venture capital and tech transfer topics led by industry experts.
