LONGUEUIL, QC, Aug. 22, 2018 /CNW Telbec/ - On August 24, NASA will hold a media teleconference to provide an update on upcoming activities related to the OSIRIS-REx mission operations. The spacecraft is scheduled to arrive at the asteroid Bennu on December 3, 2018.

The purpose of the OSIRIS-REx mission is to collect a sample of Bennu and bring it to Earth for analysis in 2023. Canada's OLA instrument will create a 3D map of the asteroid's surface to help select an ideal sample site.
