TelcoBridges Announces FreeSBC Availability on Amazon Web Services

MONTREAL, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- TelcoBridges, the leading designer and manufacturer of carrier-grade Tmedia VoIP gateways and FreeSBC, today announced that its leading virtual session border controller software is now available on the Amazon Web Services on-demand cloud computing platform. TelcoBridges also announced that it is hosting a webinar on September 25th at 11:00 AM Eastern, to show prospects how to obtain, install and evaluate FreeSBC in an AWS environment.

Telcobridges is offering three AWS options:

1. Fully Hosted FreeSBC Evaluation on AWS - offers 100 sessions of FreeSBC PRO-edition for a 90-day testing period. TelcoBridges will cover AWS infrastructure charges during the testing period, with premium support included for a one-time fee of $500.

2. FreeSBC as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) - is available for customer use on their own AWS account. Intended for production deployments and evaluation purposes, the offer includes a FreeSBC PRO-edition subscription with standard support for $1/session/year. AWS infrastructure charges are the responsibility of the customer.

3. FreeSBC AMI without support - customers with their own AWS account that do not require support, or PRO-edition features, can use FreeSBC as an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) via a renewable one-year subscription, free of charge. AWS infrastructure charges are the responsibility of the customer.

All FreeSBC AWS editions offer comparable features to the bare-metal, VMware and KVM download versions of FreeSBC. Additional options are available for customers that require PRO-edition services and extensions, including TB-Analytics for troubleshooting, OSS/BSS connectors, fraud detection, call removal and more.

"As the industry continues to gravitate towards cloud-based services, we're making it easier for service providers to access FreeSBC via AWS, and deploy it live on their networks to facilitate interconnections with their subscribers and other carriers," said TelcoBridges' CEO Gaetan Campeau. "Since our launch less than one year ago, more than 5 million FreeSBC session licenses have been downloaded - and our move to AWS will further accelerate adoption by giving prospects additional avenues to adopt our market-leading technology."

TelcoBridges' 30-minute "How To" webinar on Tuesday, September 25th at 11:00 AM Eastern time will teach attendees how to deploy FreeSBC on AWS, via a live demonstration on the activation and provisioning process. To register, simply click here.
