Covata Announces General Availability of SafeShare for ITAR

This software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering will serve a critical role in allowing small and medium-sized businesses in the Defense Industrial Base sector to adopt the cloud while complying with export control laws, such as ITAR and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), at a price that is appealing.

ITAR and EAR are two key regimes that control the export of defense articles including technical data, defense services, and dual-use articles and technology. Covata’s SafeShare for ITAR is a secure enterprise file synchronization and sharing solution that is deployed in Amazon Web Services (AWS) GovCloud, and allows businesses to store, share, and collaborate with information related to defense articles and dual use technologies.
