SANDPOINT, Idaho, Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- More than seven hundred global business executives from around the world are expected to attend this fall's LocWorld conference in Seattle, October 17-19.

The conference, which features six concurrent tracks with nine topic areas, has a special focus on digital transformation.

LocWorld brings together delegates who are engaged in the business of adapting products, services and communications to an international language or culture so as to appear native to that particular region. Speakers at the conference include representatives from Amazon, Autodesk, Dell EMC, Expedia Group, GoDaddy, Google, Mayo Clinic, Microsoft, Netflix, Pinterest, Subway, Salesforce, Starbucks, WhatsApp and many others.

The conference, produced by MultiLingual Computing, Inc. and The Localization Institute, will be held at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center.

"This conference represents an opportunity for executives who may now be entering the international field as well as experienced professionals to learn from experts from around the world on how to reach and serve audiences at home and abroad," says Ulrich Henes, conference co-organizer and president of The Localization Institute. "Our attendees are going to enjoy sessions that examine subject matter ranging from augmented reality and localization to winning support for global expansion. There will also be many opportunities to relax and network."

He has spent half of his career working for technology companies (four years at Apple and six years at IBM) and the other half helping global brands to harness the power of technology. Having lived and worked in the UK, Asia and America, East has an international perspective on the challenges facing organizations and societies today, and how technology affects them.

The preconference day will include round tables on sales and marketing, corporate terminology, growing the localization function, engaging your corporate community, growing globally, incorporating digital transformation and a session on assessing translation quality.

A stand-alone event, the Game Global Summit, which covers localization, functional and localization testing of games will take place October 16 and 17. "We introduced Game Global at LocWorld in Warsaw in June, and it was very well received. This event will build upon that success," says Donna Parrish, publisher of the magazine MultiLingual and co-organizer of LocWorld. "We have a top-notch advisory board of professionals from the industry which has helped us pick the topics and select the best presentations.
