New WORX 20-volt Drill/Driver and Impact Driver Combo Kit Expands DIY Project Capabilities

Featuring a variable, two-speed control and plenty of torque, the WORX 20-volt drill & driver makes short work of household tasks, such as installing brackets for drapery or blinds, drilling holes for drywall anchors, attaching cabinet hardware or bathroom fixtures, replacing door sets and hinges, and assembling furniture. But it also can take on larger jobs, such as building garage or basement storage racks, hanging drywall and replacing stairs and railings.
The cordless drill & driver has a two-speed gearbox with no-load speeds of 0-350 and 0-1350 rpm. Its clutch ring provides 15+1 positions to adjust torque settings, with maximum torque of 265 in.-lbs. The tool's drilling capacity is 1 in. in wood and 3/8 in. in steel.
The compact drill & driver has a comfortable, rubber overmold grip. Its 3/8 in. keyless chuck allows fast bit changes. A built-in LED light illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed and incorporates a low-battery indicator.
The drill & driver is equipped with a 1.5 Ah MAX Lithium battery that delivers long-lasting power up to 18 months per charge with no self-discharge or memory effect. Battery charging time is up to 5 hrs. and the charger has a built-in charge level indicator.
As a rugged companion to the drill & driver, the WORX 20V Impact Driver takes on bigger and tougher DIY tasks, and is especially well-designed for repetitive work. The versatile impact driver is equipped with a ¼-inch chuck, and only accepts hex-shanked bits. These bits are gripped evenly on all six sides by the chuck to prevent slippage.
The impact driver has a no-load speed range of 0-2500 rpm and delivers 0-3000 impacts per minute (ipm). It quickly sinks a variety of screws with rotational force (impacts), while minimizing stripped screw heads. Because concussions are channeled to the fastener, there is no residual effect on the user's wrist or forearm.
The 20-volt impact driver weighs only 2.6 lbs. (with battery), and is powered by the same type of 1.5 Ah lithium-ion battery as the WORX 20V Drill & Driver. It also features an LED work light that illuminates the work area when the trigger is pressed. Overmold on the handle provides a comfortable, steady grip.
Besides the WORX 20V Drill & Driver and WORX 20V Impact Driver, the combo kit includes two, 20V MAX Lithium batteries, a 5-hr. battery charger, two screwdriver bits and a carrying case. Both 20V shop tools carry a three-yr. warranty. The 20V batteries are part of the WORX Power Share program and compatible with other DIY and lawn and garden tools.
