InventHelp Inventor Develops Masonry Accessory (ROH-552)

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "As a fourth-generation mason, I knew that there had to be a better way to achieve a scratch coat that would not involve having to wait a day before mortar and stone, tile, brick, etc., could be applied," said an inventor from Rochester, N.Y. "My idea saves time and stops messes."

He developed the patent pending SCRATCH COATED BOARD to ensure that the scratch coat is just right. The design eliminates the need for a traditional scratch coat, which saves the individual from having to hire a professional mason to do the scratch coat. The unit allows mortar and stone veneer or tile to be applied immediately after installation. It ends the need to wait 24 hours after scratch coat is applied to begin finishing the surface. The device makes for more professional results. Furthermore, the design prevents messes and minimizes clean-up time.

The original design was submitted to the Rochester office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
