October 20: MMA Comes to the Entertainment and Sports Arena For the First Time as Events DC Hosts the Professional Fighters League Playoffs

                   District, will host its first combat sport's event, the 2018
                   Professional Fighters League Semi-Final Playoffs, at DC's new
                   Entertainment and Sports Arena in Congress Heights on October 20.

                 With their innovative format, the Professional Fighters League (PFL)
                   showcases mixed martial arts (MMA) and features individual athletes
                   who compete in a regular season, win-and-advance playoffs, and
                   season-ending championship. Fighters must win two fights in one
                   night to advance to the December 31 championship finale in New
                   York, NY where $10 million-the largest prize pool in MMA history-
                   will be on the line.
