On Wednesday, November 14, at 14:10-15:10 (9:10 - 10:10 a.m. EST), Mans will speak again on API security titled "Beyond OAuth: Securing APIs with Policies and Attribute Based Access Control." During the talk, Mans will discuss how Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) are complementary standards that are used individually or together to offer comprehensive access control for applications that are built using microservice and API approaches. The audience will learn best practices about API security basics, avoiding bad security practices, overcoming OAuth limitations and managing authorization as a microservice.
