InventHelp Inventor Develops Shopping Cart Scanner and Tally System (LST-925)
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 28, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Oxnard, Calif., has developed the "SMART" SCANNER CART that includes a scanner. It provides a means of tallying items scanned and placed in the cart bin or flat model cart.
"I developed my invention to provide a convenience item for shoppers. In addition to keeping track of all items within a cart, it will also speed up the checkout process," said the inventor. The "SMART" SCANNER CART determines a running total for all scanned shopping items. It allows shoppers to know their shopping total as they shop, which will help them stay within a determined budget. Also, it may allow retailers to advertise products, with ads for coupons as well. This handy scanner eliminates the need to use a calculator when shopping. In addition, it will speed up the process for self-checkout at self-checkout stations. This scanner may increase customer satisfaction within various retailers, which may lead to increased revenue for that establishment.
