Mobius Institute Recognizes IRISS Ultrasound Training and Designates IRISS an Authorized Examination Center (AEC)

Mobius Institute, the premier provider of reliability improvement and condition monitoring training, certification, and condition-based maintenance (CBM) conferences and media, today announced that IRISS Category I – Principals of Ultrasound training courses has received the Mobius Institute Board of Certification (MIBoC) declaration of conformity to ISO-18436-8, and the IRISS SMART Training Center is designated as an Authorized Examination Center (AEC) under the MIBoC scheme. IRISS ultrasound students that pass the MIBoC certification examinations for Category I ultrasound analysis will be awarded certification from MIBoC according to ISO 18436-1 and ISO 18436-8.

MIBoC provides certification for Mobius Institute and its approved partners the technology areas of Machine Vibration Analysis, Ultrasound Analysis, Infrared Thermography and Asset Reliability. MIBoC became ISO 17024 and ISO 18436-1 accredited in 2012, and provides certification through over 100 training & examination centers in 50 countries around the world.
