Whirlpool Canada Wins ENERGY STAR Sustained Excellence Award from Natural Resources Canada

MISSISSAUGA, ON, May 21, 2019 /CNW/ - Whirlpool Canada received the 2019 ENERGY STAR(® )Sustained Excellence award from Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). Whirlpool Corporation has a long history in environmental stewardship .

"We are thrilled to be recognized with the Sustained Excellence award again this year."

The award recognizes an organization that has maintained or surpassed its ENERGY STAR commitment and accomplishments of the previous years. Whirlpool Canada has received an impressive fourteen ENERGY STAR Recognition Awards, including three for Sustained Excellence, one as Participant of the Year and ten as Manufacturer of the Year.

        more efficient heat pumps and condensing dryer configurations
    --  Released new connected appliances with mobile apps across all brands and
        categories
    --  Assisted consumers in selecting efficient new products through the
        Whirlpool® and Maytag® appliance finder tools
