Carpe Antiperspirant Is Rebranding Its Online Presence
DURHAM, N.C., May 30, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Carpe, a whole-body antiperspirant startup based in North Carolina, announced today that it is moving its website to MyCarpe.com. The brand's former domain, CarpeLotion.com, will redirect to the new site. The change reflects Carpe's growing line of antiperspirant products, which go beyond the company's origins selling antiperspirant hand and foot lotions.
Carpe's commercial success, along with a $2.3 million seed round that was closed last year, have helped the brand to launch three new products: an extra strength underarm antiperspirant, antiperspirant body wipes, and a friction reducing groin powder. Additional products are scheduled for release later this year.
"When we launched in 2015, we only had two products: an antiperspirant lotion for hands, and another for feet. We've grown a lot since then, and now offer more than just lotion, so it seemed appropriate to update our domain name accordingly." said David Spratte, CEO and co-founder of Carpe. "Our objective has always been to give people confidence by helping them to manage their sweat, wherever they experience it."
Spratte and his co-founder, Kasper Kubica, founded Carpe when they were roommates in college. Both suffered from problematic sweating, and wanted to create products for people like themselves.
