ServerMonkey Renews Company's Certification, R2 Certified Recycler Since 2016

ServerMonkey first became R2 Certified in 2016 and has since continued to meet the high standards year after year, but after three years R2 Certified companies must repeat the full certification process, explains Hindi. ServerMonkey reapplied and was again awarded the certification.
R2 is a leading electronics recycling industry certification overseen by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI), an organization dedicated to changing how the world reuses and recycles electronics. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, major manufacturers and recyclers developed the R2 Standard to better protect the environment, workers and data security.
A voluntary program, R2 Certification requires facilities conform to strict specified standards for electronics recycling and reuse of dispositioned assets. Those facilities must maintain certification to OHSAS 18001/ RIOS standards for worker health and safety and to ISO 14001/ RIOS for environmental safety. R2 certified companies must use industry best practices to eradicate personal, confidential data from electronics recycled, and prove through third-party audits they continue to meet the R2 Standard.
