High Wire Networks' Certified Ethical Hacker to Address State of Cybersecurity at ChannelCon 2019

A certified ethical hacker, Vargas is a featured expert in the "State of Cybersecurity," panel discussion led by CompTIA's Chief Technology Evangelist Dr. James Stanger. The session will be held at 10:15 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7, in the Cezanne Room of the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas.
The panel will look at cybersecurity today, including innovations, such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and cloud, as well as the challenges, such as Internet of Things, the talent shortage and lack of diversity.
Vargas also plans to address why the target for cybercriminals changed to include small and medium businesses (SMBs) and midmarket companies, and the resulting industry challenge to make enterprise-class cybersecurity more accessible.
