OAKLAND, Calif., Aug. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Global industry analyst Josh Bersin is partnering with UC Berkeley Executive Education to conduct a unique, two-day event for senior HR and talent leaders that brings the latest research from top Berkeley faculty members to address some of today's most pressing HR and workforce-related challenges. The event will be held on campus at the Haas School of Business on October 10-11.
Designed around the theme People as Competitive Advantage and open to an exclusive community of senior HR executives, sessions will cover a range of workforce-related topics such as HR 3.0 and changing role of talent leaders, how organizational culture can accelerate a company's strategic vision, and how "adaptive DNA" can foster and sustain continual improvement.
"Executives attending this event will have the opportunity to discuss research in areas such as harnessing data to measure culture, the science behind wellbeing, and adaptive practices to lead change," said Bersin. "The agenda also includes time each day to collaborate on how this research can inform HR strategies, help address coming-soon disruptions, and introduce new ways of thinking."
The Summit will be led by Bersin and Rich Lyons, former dean of the Haas School of Business, former CLO of Goldman Sachs, and recently named chief innovation and entrepreneurship officer for UC Berkeley. Both will deliver sessions and facilitate discussions. Other presenters include:
-- Emily Nishi, Chief People Officer, Lyft (Keynote Presenter) -- Sameer Srivastava, Associate Professor and Harold Furst Chair in Management Philosophy and Values -- Emiliana Simon-Thomas, Science Director, Greater Good Science Center -- Homa Bahrami, Senior Lecturer, Haas School of Business
"What makes this event unique and exciting is the pulling together of top Haas faculty and industry experts to tackle some of the most complex HR issues, with discussions inspired by Berkeley's tradition of questioning the status quo to make us better," added Rich Lyons.
