HANWHA LAUNCHES TEAMING PROJECT FOR AUSTRALIAN IFV TENDER
South Korean arms manufacturer Hanwha Defense has established a new Australian company, Hanwha Defense Australia (HDA), to compete for the country’s LAND 400 Phase 3 infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) tender.
HDA is teaming with Australia’s EOS Group and Israel’s Elbit Systems.
The tender is for 450 IFVs for AUD10-15bn ($7.4bn-$11bn).
