Nubundle Acquires OnTrack Software and Adds Chief Medical Advisor to Executive Team

CHICAGO, Oct. 7, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Nubundle, a digital fertility coaching and medication management service for fertility clinics, announced today that it has acquired the exclusive license to OnTrack. Developed at the University of Michigan by Dr. Michael Lanham, M.D., the former Medical Director of the fertility practice, OnTrack is software that allows fertility clinics to help more patients by automating patient reminders, medication supply, and reporting, ultimately improving outcomes and increasing clinic staff efficiency.

Additionally, Dr. Michael Lanham, a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, joins Nubundle as its Chief Medical Advisor.

Due to the increased expectations from modern, tech-savvy patients, fertility clinics need robust tools to help reduce patient churn and avoid staff burnout. With Nubundle, its clinic partners are able to create a more personalized and positive patient experience through:

-- Medication Management - text alerts and medication supply reminders for
patients help increase adherence and lower costs associated with missed
treatments or extra supplies. Clinics also have visibility into patient
medication inventory and can provide ongoing coaching to better support
patients through treatment programs at home.
-- Live 1-on-1 Fertility Coaching - provides emotional and logistical
support for patients from pre-consult through the completion of
        treatment.
-- Curated Content and Educational Resources - Nubundle acts as an online
destination for clinics' content and also includes high-quality, vetted
articles on a variety of fertility topics to create more educated,
        empowered and prepared families.

It's reported that up to 15 percent of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles are complicated by medication adherence related issues. Traditionally, clinics have little real-time insight into a patient's medication inventory or their adherence to time-critical medication administrations, making it hard to provide crucial support for patients tasked with administering a complex array of medications in which timing and dosage are critical to a successful pregnancy.

"The goal of fertility treatments like IVF is always a healthy baby, but due to the complexity of these treatments, it can be a long journey to get to that point. One major factor in the success of these procedures is the lack of access that fertility clinics have to efficient communication and education channels to support patients outside the office. Patient volumes are increasing without an increasing number of clinic staff, but patients expect clinics to provide the same high-quality communication and guidance," said Dr. Lanham M.D., Chief Medical Advisor at Nubundle. "With Nubundle and OnTrack, we're disrupting the antiquated processes clinics have in place to connect with patients, especially when it comes to medication management, providing the clinics with insights never before possible."

In his role as Chief Medical Advisor, Dr. Lanham M.D., provides strategic insight around research, product design and clinic relationship management for Nubundle. He received his medical degree from and did his residency and fellowship training at the University of Michigan. He is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Learning Health Sciences at the University.

"Our vision for Nubundle goes beyond just providing education and direction to people on their parenthood journey. We are creating technology that makes us the modern partner for fertility clinics, helping seamlessly enhance patient engagement, management and communication - and of course helping more families grow," said John Ciasulli, CEO and co-founder of Nubundle. "We're excited to have Dr. Lanham join our team to make this next step a success. His knowledge of the market and medical expertise is invaluable to our future innovation."

Nubundle and Dr. Lanham are currently leading a clinical trial with OnTrack that will be completed by the end of 2019.
