The lawsuit filed against AECOM Technical Services, Inc., alleges the company failed and continues to fail to accurately calculate and pay their California non-exempt employees for overtime worked. Allegedly, AECOM Technical Services, Inc., failed to pay these employees for all overtime worked, including, work performed in excess of eight (8) hours in a workday, and/or twelve (12) hours in a workday, and/or forty (40) hours in any workweek. State law provides that employees must be paid overtime at one-and-one-half times their "regular rate of pay."

Additionally, the lawsuit alleges PLAINTIFF and other CALIFORNIA CLASS Members were also from time to time unable to take off duty meal breaks and were not fully relieved of duty for meal periods due to their rigorous work schedules. PLAINTIFF and other CALIFORNIA CLASS Members were required to perform work as ordered by DEFENDANT for more than five (5) hours during a shift without receiving an off-duty meal break.
