DTN Introduces New CTO and Head of Agriculture Business

DTN, the leading provider of independent insights, announced two key leadership hires today as the company reinforces its commitment to delivering innovation to customers around the world.

Lars Ewe, the company’s new chief technology officer (CTO), will focus on driving increased innovation in best-in-class DTN solutions to deliver greater value for our clients. He will leverage his experience in developing data science and machine learning solutions to ensure DTN delivers its insights and information through innovative solutions. Ewe was most recently chief product officer and SVP of engineering for Anaconda, a leader in data science and machine learning solutions.

John Teeple is joining DTN as the senior vice president of agriculture. In this role, Teeple will lead the company’s agriculture business. Producers and agribusinesses turn to DTN for critical decision support solutions in agronomy and the grain supply chain as well as the Progressive Farmer magazine. Teeple is well-known as an innovator within the agriculture industry and spent more than 23 years at John Deere in a variety of product development, technology innovation, strategy and operations roles. Most recently he served as the director of advanced technology, driving innovation into the global precision agriculture strategy.
