Mr. Davis will be responsible for providing leadership, oversight, coordination and execution of industry research and activities. He will also ensure that industry activities are aligned with the mission and vision of Somos, and in compliance with regulatory oversight.

Mr. Davis has an impressive background in the telecommunications industry that includes more than 20 years of experience working with industry giants such as CenturyTel/CenturyLink and AT&T. In his most recent role as the Senior Director/Principal Architect - Global Network Architecture/IP Transformation at CenturyLink, Justen defined the strategic modernization blueprint for all technologies within the company. His program, which combined a ILEC and CLEC network of 1.2M elements throughout all 50 states, resulted in an annual utilities benefit of about 80 percent and reduced real estate requirements by about 90 percent.
