G2 Integrated Solutions announces new MCA-capable Gas HCA Tool
HOUSTON, April 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- G2 Integrated Solutions (G2-IS) announced today the release of a new version of their Gas HCA Tool - version 2.1.8. G2-IS' Gas HCA Tool is a comprehensive software suite that supports critical natural gas pipeline regulatory analyses including Class Location and High Consequence Area (HCA) determination and, for the first time, determination of Moderate Consequence Areas (MCAs) as defined in Docket No. PHMSA-2011-0023; Amdt. Nos. 191-26; 192-125, recently published in the Federal Register by the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA). The new version is implemented on Esri's world leading Geographic Information System (GIS) platform, and is fully compatible with the latest versions of Esri's flagship GIS applications, ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Desktop. The new Gas HCA Tool version also supports the latest versions of the widely adopted Pipeline Open Data Standard (PODS) and Esri Utility and Pipeline Data Model (UPDM) data storage models.
