FinishLine Tax Solutions Announces It Is Open To Help Taxpayers File Taxes Before July 15 Deadline

HOUSTON, June 22, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As the extended tax deadline of July 15 draws closer, Texas-based tax relief company FinishLine Tax Solutions has announced it is open for businesses to help taxpayers file their taxes by the deadline. Many taxpayers found relief when the IRS extended the filing deadline from April 15 to July 15, but FinishLine Tax Solutions understands that many taxpayers are in need of any potential tax refunds immediately. Therefore, FinishLine Tax Solutions is opening up its services to help those taxpayers in need.

"Now is a very important time when it comes to tax filing, as the extended deadline of July 15 is drawing near, said Michael Avery, President of FinishLine Tax Solutions. "We encourage all taxpayers who have yet to file their taxes to call our office immediately. We can help with tax preparation, tax filing and any tax relief options that may be necessary."

FinishLine Tax Solutions also offers free consultations for new customers. Their services include tax preparation for individuals and businesses. Additionally, they also specialize in state tax preparation and federal tax preparation. FinishLine Tax Solutions helps their clients file taxes they owe both to the federal government and the state.

While the tax filing deadline has already been pushed by the federal government from April 15, to July 15, a recent Fox News article published on June 12 notes that Representative Max Rose (D-N.Y.) is urging the IRS to extend the filing deadline to October 15. Rose cited the "ongoing financial fallout of the coronavirus pandemic on families and small businesses" as the reason for requesting the tax filing deadline be pushed even further. The article goes on to note that Rose wrote the IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig on June 12 requesting the updated July 15 tax deadline be extended to Oct. 15 "without penalty because of limited revenues, lack of free tax preparation services and IRS backlogs."

The Fox News article notes that Rose said, "[T]axpayers are distressed, and reasonably so."

The article went on to state that extending the deadline further would also allow the IRS to bring back more of their personnel, in a safe manner, to help process returns. While the IRS has not yet announced whether it will be moving its tax filing deadline to Oct. 15 per Rose's request, FinishLine tax solutions urges taxpayers to file their taxes as soon as possible, and are therefore offering their services. FinishLine Tax Solution notes that as some taxpayers may be entitled to a refund, those funds could be used more now than ever.

For taxpayers who have filed their taxes but need help with tax relief services, the company also offers help with wage garnishment release, negotiating an Offer in Compromise deal, filing for an Installment Agreement, bank levy release, assistance with the IRS Fresh Start program, tax attorney help and more. FinishLine Tax Solutions is currently offering tax relief services and tax filing services to taxpayers across the country, with free consultations available for new clients.
