Largest Gathering of Association Chapter Professionals Takes Place at 2020 Association Component Exchange Virtual Conference

TROY, Mich., Oct. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Association Component Exchange (CEX), a conference focused on association chapters, is drawing more than 160 professionals for a two-day virtual conference on October 26 and 27, 2020, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. EDT. Hosted by Billhighway and Mariner Management, CEX provides a virtual experience for association professionals to benefit from peer-to-peer learning, creative problem-solving, and networking with people who understand the unique challenges of managing components.

CEX is the only conference designed exclusively for component relations professionals (CRPs) to share successes, strategies, and innovations with their peers to improve their member communities. CRPs are a specific niche of association professionals who work with components such as chapters, sections, affiliates, divisions, and more.

The CEX agenda boasts an impressive two-day lineup of learning and networking sessions, made possible through the support of 2020 sponsors and partners: Event Garde, Gravitate, Impexium, memberplanet, StarChapter, and GrowthZone. This year's topics will explore how to leverage new technologies, as well as forward-looking strategies, tactics, tools, and techniques to inspire chapter leaders and members.

"Our goal is to connect component relations professionals so they can discover innovative ideas and best practices that they can take back to directly implement with their chapters," said Billhighway Marketing Leader, Charlotte Muylaert. "We are combining the best in virtual-event technology to create a high-energy environment that empowers attendees to share experiences and lessons with others in their community."

The fourth annual CEX conference will leverage virtual tools like Zoom Breakout Rooms, attendees will experience collaborative programming that covers essential topics and case studies related to supporting components while receiving eight credits toward becoming a Certified Association Executive (CAE).

"Professionals are looking to their associations for answers about how to cope in this environment. In turn, associations are creating new and critical resources for members, which is what makes CEX so important this year as we are exploring innovations in meetings, communications, and connections," said Mariner Management & Marketing President and Executive Director, Peggy Hoffman. "The interest in this year's event demonstrates that professionals are hungry for actionable solutions to support their chapter volunteers, especially given the growing challenges of 2020."

All association professionals operating with a component (chapters, state affiliates, divisions, sections) are welcome to attend whether their components are subsidiary, affiliated with charter, or affiliated-independent. Visit leveragechapters.com for registration details.
