Monte Nido & Affiliates Celebrates Appointment of Dr. Joel Jahraus, MD, FAED, CEDS as President of the iaedp(TM) Board of Directors
MIAMI, Jan. 6, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Monte Nido & Affiliates, a leading national provider of eating disorder treatment for over twenty-four years, proudly announced today that the organization's Chief Medical Officer Joel Jahraus, MD, FAED, CEDS, will become President of the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp(TM)) Board of Directors, effective January 1, 2021. The occasion will mark the completion of one year of service as President-Elect and the commencement of a two-year term as President. Dr. Jahruas will take the role vacated by Monte Nido & Affiliates' Rosewood Program Vice-President of Clinical Services Dena Cabrera, Psy.D. CEDS, who will move into the Immediate Past President role.
Dr. Jahraus, a leading voice in the eating disorder field, diligently served as an iaedp(TM) Board member, both in present roles on the Certification and COMC Committees, as well as via previous contributions as a member of the Excellence in Practice Committee. Dr. Jahraus' appointment is a reflection of the steadfast dedication, professionalism, and selflessness he brings to his work and the eating disorder field.
