WHAT:
Employ Prince George's has partnered with Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) and Verizon to unveil a groundbreaking regional effort to provide economic stability and skills training to DMV and Baltimore residents. This initiative will provide eligible residents with skills training, pathways to vehicle ownership for high school graduates and adults, essential needs support, financial and computer literacy training to secure and maintain employment. Through this collective impact model, the Employ Prince George's is creating the DMV Economic Mobility Community Network to unite workforce development, education and training, community-based organizations, and businesses to increase wages and economic prosperity for residents and families throughout the DMV.
