Founded in 1925, Teuvan Keitintehdas Oy is located in Teuva, South Ostrobothnia, in Western Finland – approximately 80 km from either Vaasa or Seinäjoki. The company begin by manufacturing water boilers for agricultural purposes, but soon entered into the manufacture of food cookers and mobile field kitchens for military use as well as other cooking equipment.
The Company's continuing close cooperation with Finnish Defence Forces begin with the origins of the company, with the legendary M-29 field kitchen having been introduced in 1929.
On Finnish Veterans Day, in the year 2000, the Teuvan Keitintehdas Oy Museum was dedicated in honour of the 75 anniversary of our company. Speaker of the Finnish Parliament, Riitta Uosukainen, was in attendance.
In addition to modern mobile kitchens for rapid deployment by military forces, the company also manufactures products for use in the civilian sector, including sauna heaters, mobile catering equipment, and professional kitchen cookers designed to customer requirements.
