The Austrian AT&S group (Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG - Austria Technology & System Engineering Corp.) is market leader in Europe and among the world's largest and technically most advanced producers of printed circuit boards (thin, highly complex printed circuit boards and is thus a central, key supplier to the entire telecommunications industry.-Printed circuit boards are passive components serving to link active ones. Thus, the printed circuit board is the electronic basis at the heart of electronic devices). In the high-tech segment of HDI Microvia technology, which is primarily used in hand-held applications, AT&S is in third place worldwide. AT&S also operates sucessfully in the automobile industry and in industrial and medical technologies. The company's product assortment reaches from single and double-side to multilayer printed circuit boards at the pinnacle of technology.

As an internationally growing company, AT&S is globally prominent with its four production locations in Austria (Leoben, Fohnsdsorf, Fehring, Klagenfurt) and one factory each in India (Nanjangud) and China (Shanghai). A second facility in Shanghai is currently under construction. Furthermore AT&S maintains a service and logistics center in Norvenich, Germany, as well as a number of sales offices, amongst others in Japan and Russia.

Between 2 and 3 percent of sales are invested annually in various research and development projects.
