PLASTICOS DE SANTANDER LTDA. - PLADESAN, was founded in 1962 in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia, a city well known for its educational and research centers. For its innovative projects development, the Company is supported by global suppliers and logistics facilitators.
PLADESAN specializes in engineering design and the manufacture of precise parts and assemblies using high performance thermoplastic composite materials. An additional product line covers the application of high resistance - electrically conductive composites.
PLADESAN is backed by a team of 50 technically-trained and experienced engineers and is committed to quality assurance in all its processes.
As a technology based industrial company, PLADESAN is backed up by state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment for engineering design services, the development of tooling and molds, mechanical assembly/finishing operations, as well as the machining, injection molding, manufacture and testing of conductive materials.
PLADESAN’s range of solutions has applications in the food, medical, oil and chemical markets.

Design & Manufacturing Services
With a manufacturing line that works 24/7 in order to meet with the production schedules, PLADESAN specializes in the design and development of high performance applications using a flexible development methodology that enables them to offer cost effective solutions.
PLADESAN generates drawings before the development of the final product and assists customers and partners on the selection of the polymeric materials. The services offered by the Company range from the design of commercial aircraft cabin interiors to the assembly and replacement of metal structure parts. CAD/CAE technologies support the Company’s design processes.
Electrically Conductive Composites
The Company has in-depth experience in the manufacture of precise electrically conductive composites. Whether conductive, static dissipative or antistatic, the company can be a partner for material selection and batch production of “tight tolerance electrical resistance” conductive material. All material is 100% tested in house according to customers’ requirements.
Modular Conveyor Belts & Chains
PLADESAN designs and develops modular conveyor belts and chains for its customers that aim to increase productivity and operational efficiency and save time and costs:
