US Air Force Selects Altamira to Standup Chief Data Office

Altamira Technologies has been selected by the US Air Force (USAF) to standup a Chief Data Office (CDO) that will support enhanced decision-making through advanced data analytics. The CDO will serve as a centralized resource providing facilities and personnel to improve access to USAF data across the organization.

Altamira data architects and scientists will help the USAF address corporate challenges by building repeatable quantitative approaches to internal questions. The new CDO will provide data engineering and architecture, and apply features such as business intelligence, machine learning, and analytic dashboards to maximize the value of USAF data. Internal USAF customers will be able to bring inquiries to the CDO and gain actionable evidence towards making complex organizational decisions.

“Our team’s established excellence in data science technologies has led Altamira to be hand selected for this opportunity to establish a critical resource for the USAF,” said Jonathan Moneymaker, EVP & Chief Strategy Officer for Altamira. “Through this endeavor Altamira will build upon our strengths in big data analytics to develop repeatable processes that will support evidence driven decision-making for our customer.”
