Dimensions Now Available to the University of New Hampshire

LONDON, August 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Digital Science is proud to announce an agreement with the University of New Hampshire that will provide access to the next-generation research and discovery tool, Dimensions, to users across the institution.

Dimensions reimagines discovery and access to research by making nearly 1 million academic citations freely available and delivers one-click access to over 16 million Open Access articles. Unlike existing tools, Dimensions brings together various research-related data sources including 96 million publications, over 4 million awarded grants, nearly 36 million patents and 425 thousand clinical trials.

With the Dimensions implementation, the University of New Hampshire will enable their faculty to make broad, insightful and up-to-date discoveries of global research - not just via published outputs but also via grants, datasets, conference contributions, patents, trials, and a number of relevant, modern metrics.

Speaking about the adoption at the University of New Hampshire, Director of Strategic Initiatives, Kevin Gardner commented, "Dimensions will allow us to gain intelligence about funded grants, both our own and others across the country. Additionally, the platform will be used to improve our own grant submissions, which is key. It will also aid in faculty research development by identifying good partners, particularly for early career faculty."

CEO and co-founder of Dimensions, Christian Herzog, adds, "Our aim with Dimensions was to provide a gateway to a rich set of essential information across the research landscape. We are delighted to partner with UNH and hope our tools can help support their research efforts in their core mission.
