Industry Experts and Thought Leaders Join Line Up of 2018 HIVE Conference in Austin

The theme for the 2018 HIVE Conference is "Reignite the Dream: Affordability for Profit and Purpose." Over a two-day period, HIVE 2018 will present panels and discussions led by innovative thought leaders, including CEOs, architects, authors, economists, and educators. Content and discussions will be driven by five transformative pillars: Building Technology, Capital, Design, Strategy and Intel. Each pillar's presentations and panels will be led by a dean drawn from the best of the pioneers in each field.

The Deans for the 2018 HIVE Conference will be:

    --  BUILDING TECHNOLOGY: FRITZ H. WOLFF - Executive Chairman of The Wolff
        Company and Co-Founder of Katerra Fritz is the executive chairman of The
        Wolff Company, and co-founded Katerra. He is responsible for The Wolff
        Company's corporate governance and global strategy. Fritz is an active
        member of the firm's Executive Committee, and co-heads the Investment
        Committee.
    --  CAPITAL: NATALIE BRUSS - Partner, FifthWall Natalie is a Partner and
        oversees partnerships for LPs and portfolio companies, as well as
        marketing and brand strategy at FifthWall, where technology drives the
        connection between funding and a launching pad for real estate
        innovations. Previously, Natalie was Vice President of Digital Strategy
        and Partnerships at ID, where she built and ran digital partnerships and
        strategy for consumer and entertainment brands, and talent. Natalie
        started her career as a trend forecaster and connector, bringing
        together innovators and creating new ecosystems across technology,
        entertainment, media and consumer brands.
    --  DESIGN: ANNE TORNEY - Partner, Mithun Anne is an architect who has made
        affordable multi-family housing and transit-oriented urban infill the
        focus of her work for more than 20 years. She brings a deep commitment
        to community outreach and sustainable design to all her projects, which
        range from supportive studios for formerly homeless seniors, to the
        revitalization of isolated public housing sites into walkable, mixed-use
        and mixed-income communities. Her affordable housing experience includes
        award-winning projects in San Francisco as well as San Jose, Los Angeles
        and Seattle. Notable examples are the national AIA Housing Award-winning
        1180 Fourth, and Sansome and Broadway Family Housing, a CNU Charter
        Award honoree.
    --  INTEL: CAROL GALANTE - Director, Terner Center for Housing Innovation,
        UC Berkeley Carol is the I. Donald Terner Distinguished Professor in
        Affordable Housing and Urban Policy in the Department of City and
        Regional Planning at UC Berkeley and the Faculty Director of the Terner
        Center for Housing Innovation. As Faculty Director for the Terner
        Center, Galante oversees the Center's work and co-leads the Center's
        research agenda, supervising projects that identify, develop and advance
        innovative solutions in local, state and federal housing policy and
        practice. Prior to coming to UC Berkeley, Galante served in the Obama
        Administration for over five years as the Assistant Secretary for
        Housing/Federal Housing Commissioner at the U.S. Department of Housing
        and Urban Development (HUD) and as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for
        Multifamily Housing programs.
    --  STRATEGY: CAROLINE VARY - Managing Director of Asset Management,
        Jonathan Rose Companies Caroline joined Jonathan Rose Companies in 2007
        and brings 20 years of experience in asset management, leasing,
        financing, design, construction and development to her role as a
        Managing Director. She led the development of the LEED Gold Certified
        Metro Green Residential development, adjacent to the Stamford
        Transportation Center. Caroline is also responsible for overseeing the
        asset management of the Firm's East Coast portfolio and has implemented
