Arizona Law Enforcement Officer Injured in the Line of Duty Discovers Music During Recovery Records' First-of-its-Kind Lullaby Album for ADHD Children

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 12, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Arizona law enforcement officer Bryan Wisda will release his first music album ADHD Lullaby(TM) on Friday, February 15th, 2019. Using neuroscience, the patent-pending music methodology is designed specifically to help ADHD children fall asleep.

Pre-release tracks are available for purchase and streaming starting February 15th on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and other digital music services, including the single "Cale's Lullaby," which had more than 1,000 listeners in its first week on Spotify. The complete 15-track album is priced at $10 for digital copies and $17 for compact disc; it is available for purchase and download worldwide and at adhdlullaby.com.

Wisda, a Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputy who was shot while on duty in 2016, learned to play guitar during his recovery. While practicing, Wisda discovered playing nonrhythmic music served as a calming lullaby for his ten-year-old ADHD son to help him get to sleep at night.

Over the past year, Wisda researched neuroscience, music therapy, binaural beats, and other sound soothing techniques to incorporate into songs for his son's nighttime routine. The visible benefits inspired Wisda to seek a patent for his music, create his own label Zezz Music Limited, and produce a full album of lullabies.

"During my recovery my wife forced me to do something other than play video games - this got to me to take up the guitar. I had no idea learning the guitar would have such a positive impact on my son's life and for our family. He used to struggle significantly to get to sleep at night. I hope this album helps other parents and children who are struggling to find an answer to the sleep problems that come as a side effect to some of the ADHD medications kids take today," stated Wisda.

An estimated 6.4 million American children are diagnosed with ADHD according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a number that has been increasing steadily since 2003. A significant side effect of modern ADHD medications is trouble falling asleep at night.
