What makes the SoftwareReviews Data Quadrant different? Inclusion of aggregated emotional response ratings in the areas of service, negotiation, product impact, conflict resolution, and strategy and innovation create a powerful indicator of overall user feeling toward the vendor and its product from the software users' point of view. SoftwareReviews calls this insight the Net Emotional Footprint.

SAP Ariba, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +92, received high scores in many categories, specifically exceeding user expectations in usability and intuitiveness, ease of IT administration, e-signature, and searchable repository. IBM Emptoris, with a Net Emotional Footprint of +86, performed exceptionally well overall, receiving top product scores in clause management, contract authoring, obligation management, east of data integration, business value created, ease of implementation, quality of features, and availability and quality of training. In general, Contract Lifecycle Management software users were most satisfied with e-signature functionality, and were most dissatisfied with redlining.
