Guidehouse Scores 100 Percent In 2021 Corporate Equality Index

Guidehouse, a leading consultancy and solutions provider to the public and commercial sectors, proudly announced that for the twelfth year in a row, the firm has received a perfect score of 100 percent on the Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation's premier benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality, administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation.

The CEI rates companies on detailed criteria falling under five broad categories: non-discrimination policies, employment benefits, demonstrated organizational competency and accountability around LGBTQ diversity and inclusion, public commitment to LGBTQ equality and responsible citizenship. By satisfying all CEI criteria, Guidehouse earned a 100 percent ranking and the designation as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

“We appreciate being recognized again by the HRC Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality,” said Scott McIntyre, Chief Executive Officer of Guidehouse. “This designation underscores the Guidehouse commitment to a culture of belonging that is rooted in individual diversity, inclusion and equality. This recognition also acknowledges our internal Listen. Learn. Act. initiative aimed to purposefully take steps in the promotion of justice and equality within our business and in the communities we serve.”

HRC Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index is the national benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees. Guidehouse joins the ranks of more than 700 major U.S. businesses that also earned top scores this year.

A Great Place to Work-Certified™ Company, Guidehouse’s Inclusion & Diversity Program is committed to fostering a progressive work environment that creates awareness, supports an open exchange of ideas and encourages a collaborative culture. Guidehouse’s Out Professional Employee Network (OPEN) is an internal global employee network formed around the support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBTQ) communities.

“At Guidehouse, inclusivity is a cornerstone of our values,” added Casey Horton, Director and OPEN Co-Chair. “OPEN is committed to creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive culture for our employees. We take immense pride in this important recognition and continue to evolve our policies and programs to meet HRC Foundation’s standards.”
