For almost 100 years, the name AUTOFLUG has been inseparably linked to rescuing people and ensuring their safety on land, water and in the air.

Safety Seats - AUTOFLUG develops and produces safety seats for helicopters, transport aircraft as well as various land vehicles. Due to long-term experience in the development and certification of safety seats, AUTOFLUG is a reliable partner for this range of products. This is also underlined by AUTOFLUG’s profound know-how obtained in several research projects aiming at the optimisation of occupant protection.

Fuel System Capability - AUTOFLUG supplies fuel measurement and control systems. Tank studies are performed on the basis of customer-supplied CAD files which define the tank geometry. AUTOFLUG uses software tools to determine the optimum number and location of probes and the corresponding profiling data. Prototypes are quickly built using standard components. AUTOFLUG Fuel Quantity Measurement Systems are qualified in accordance with MIL-STD-810F regarding vibration, shock, temperature, altitude, relative humidity, salt spray, sand and dust. EMC/EMI Qualification is performed in accordance with MIL-STD-461E for CE101, CE102, RE101, RE102, CS101, CS114, CS115, CS116, RS101, RS103.

Rescue Parachutes, Brake Chutes and Parachute Recovery Systems - Based on decades of experience in rescue and safety technology, AUTOFLUG produces a broad range of rescue parachutes, brake chutes and parachute recovery systems. The Durachute® is a rescue parachute having an extremely low bulk which is achieved by pressure packing combined with vacuum technology. AUTOFLUG develops, produces and maintains parachute recovery systems as well as inflatable impact absorbing systems for reconnaissance UAS.

Harnesses and Restraint Systems - From the very beginning, AUTOFLUG has developed and manufactured restraint systems in the civilian and military sector for aircraft and land vehicles: Safety belts with either pelvic, 3-point, 4-point or 5-point anchor systems, equipped with fully automatic inertia reels; Combined restraint systems and parachute harness systems; 6-point and 8-point safety belts designed based on the results of the latest accident studies; Quick release connectors; Sea-water activated quick-release connectors; Special safety belt systems.

Pilot Safety Equipment - AUTOFLUG also offers anti-g protection products in order to improve pilots’ safety.

Personal Survival Pack

AUTOFLUG has been approved by the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw) as an Aviation Organisation for Military Aircraft Parts and by the German Federal Aviation Administration (Luftfahrt-Bundesamt) as a Production Organisation in accordance with EASA 21/G and a Maintenance Organisation in accordance with EASA 145.

AUTOFLUG has been certified by the German DEKRA Certification GmbH in accordance with ISO 9001:2008 and EN 9100:2009.

Furthermore, AUTOFLUG fully maintains the following standards: ZDV19/1 Airworthiness Verification and Certification Regulations for Bundeswehr Aircraft and Aeronautical Equipment; AQAP 2110 NATO-Quality Assurance Requirements for Design, Development and Production.
