Vazovski Mashinostroitelni Zavodi (VMZ) ЕAD is the largest enterprise of the military and industrial complex in Bulgaria.The first stone in its foundation was laid on 9 June, 1936. The company’s production commenced with hand grenades, 22 mm HE rounds, 122 mm howitzer rounds, fuzes, 75 mm rounds and 105 mm projectiles for Krupp gun. The company is ISO 9001:2008 and AQAP 2110 certified.
Currently, VMZ production range includes: Artillery ammunition; Ammunition for multiple-rocket launching system; Ammunition for RPG-7V portable anti-tank rocket-propelled; Genade launcher; Rocket-propelled grenades for disposable grenade launcher; Ammunition for SPG-9 heavy grenade launcher and 2A28 gun; Unguided aircraft rockets; Anti-tank guided missiles; Fuzes, igniters and pyro-delay mechanisms; Concept models.
