The contractor shall deliver a complete and full functioning lifetime extension of Avedøre Power Station 1 turbine protection and control system (S74) mechanically as well as electronically so that it meets functional and maintenance requirements.

The retrofitted protection and control system shall respect all requirements including lifetime until at least 2033.

The scope of supply must include, but is not limited to the following supplies, functions and services:

1) Modification of hydraulic actuators for control valves and flaps;

2) Installation/removal of all necessary pipes;

3) If new oil filter units are necessary, this must be included;

4) Mounting/dismounting of all components involved;

5) 3rd Channel in turbine protection, implemented in existing HW and SW;

6) 3rd Channel in the protection for LP-bypass, implemented in existing HW and SW;

7) Trip block turbine protection with internal monitoring;

8) Trip block for LP-bypass with internal monitoring;

9) New overspeed protection (SIL3) with sensors, tooth wheel for turbine rotor, integrated in existing HW and SW;

10) Individual control the 2 pcs HP-valves, 2 pcs. IP-valves, 1 pcs. LP-bypass and 3 pcs cross over flaps;

11) 8 position sensors on control valves;

12) Signal processing for 8 analogue signals from position sensors for control valves, extension of existing HW and SW;

13) Partial Stroke Valve Test function;

14) Automatic online testing of all trip channels via test programme, realised in existing HW and SW;

15) Automatic online testing of all control valves;

16) 3 new analogue measurements for extraction steam 2 pressure;

17) 3 new analogue measurements for extraction steam 3 pressure;

18) 3 new analogue measurements for lubricating oil pressure;

19) 3 new analogue measurements for hydraulic oil pressure;

20) Commissioning, cold and hot.
