TAM AS has more than 25 years of experience in designing and making tailor made shelters to demanding services all over the world.

TAM AS design according to client specifications, TAM shelters vary in complexity, but all are lightweight, strong, well-insulated and easy to maintain.

Shelters are delivered from empty to almost fully equipped, and prepared for customers own equipment.

The company has:

• its own design department and we use CAD in all our design
• its own production department with skilled workers
• Quality Assurance System to assure that our products meet the requirements in contracts and/or specification

Lightweight expandable, insulated sandwich shelters are designed and fulfil requirements according to ISO 1496 1D 10 ft. container.

Shelter type 71000 is designed for flexible integration of equipment and Operation World Wide. The shelters are supplied with HVAC systems and fulfill the requirements according to STANAG 2895 climatic zone A1-C1. Heating 3 kW and cooling 5,5 kW.

Shelter type 63000 for HMMWV The shelter type TAM-63000 is designed as a multi purpose, self supporting communication shelter to be used on the HMMWV. The complete shelter system is designed extreme high ambient temperature and very low sound level. To obtain these excellent properties we have used our 25 years knowledge, technology and know-how.

The shelter is built on a steel frame with 20' ISO interface, and has 2 expandable sides. After expansion the shelter have one open room on approximately 5.6m x 6.3m - over 35 squaremetres flat floor. The shelter can be delivered with or without hook lift system. The steel frame is according to NATO military standard.

The shelter is primarily designed to meet the Hock lift System according to DIN 30722, but it also meet requirements according to ISO 20 feet container handling systems. The shelter is equipped with AC/DC, fibre optics, inverter air-condition, complex network and electrical installation.

TAM AS has developed a wide range of mobile and semi- mobile shelters, mostly for communication and command posts. The company develops new products and refines existing one in close collaboration with military forces and civilian clients.

The shelter is primarily designed to meet the Hocklift System according to DIN 30722, but it also meet requirements according to ISO 20 feet container handling systems. This shelter meets all requirements to Rapid Deployment. Two people establish the Communication Centre is within 5 minutes.

These shelters meet all requirements to Rapid Deployment with integrated hook lift system and can also be transported as a 20' ISO container. The hydraulic jack legs system runs on 24 Volt DC from internal batteries. It is also possible to connect external power if needed (NATO system).

The Expandable Shelter type 50FT are special designed to serve the expandable shelter type 48FT DCM, but can also be used as a separate unit - all designed for Rapid Deployment in close collaboration with our client NODECA. All shelters are produced in high quality, long lasting, lightweight and hard skin sandwich material.

The cabin is made in lightweight sandwich panels, which leads to low weight and high loading capacity. The MKM is EMC shielded.

DCM-Shelters are based on the 20’ expandable shelters with 20’ ISO interfaces and integrated hook-lift system. These shelters were produced in close collaboration with NODECA.
